John Tomalin-Reeves MA(RCA), the designer of the Halo Cooltouch barbeque, is passionate about making social cooking safer. Combining his concerns for a safe environment for his own young family with a talent for product design, he has created an innovative barbeque. What defines John's work is elegance and modernity, classic lines with a contemporary eye for colour, proportion, function and safety. He has been developing the Halo project for three years, working with specialist engineers and product designers to create a new type of barbeque. For John it had to be a thing of beauty as well as meeting every one of his primary concerns about safety and efficiency.
